Updated NIRI SOPs for testing the physical durability of ITNs

NIRI has updated its recommended SOPs for testing the physical durability of ITNs. The three SOPs for assessment of abrasion resistance, hole enlargement resistance and snag strength can be found at the links provided or on the I2I website ‘Resources’ page.

The SOP for abrasion resistance has been updated to account for variability reported by some users of this method, and we encourage those using these SOPs to continue giving feedback on their application. We hope these will provide the clarity to obtain consistent results when testing the physical durability parameters of ITNs.
