Frank Mechan

Frank began working with I2I in 2022 as a data analyst and to develop statistical methods to validate current and future vector control tools. Frank joined LSTM in 2018 as a PhD student after completing an MRes in Translational and Quantitative Methods at the University of Lancaster. Frank’s thesis focused on the durability of Insecticide Treated Nets (ITNs) and the host-seeking behaviour of malaria vectors as they attempted to enter damaged nets. In 2021, Frank was selected for the Gates Notes Deep Dive on malaria eradication to discuss the future of malaria control with Bill Gates and leading experts in the field.
